Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup butter (cubed)
  • 3/4 cup cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp Sprinkles

  • 1 Leaf-shaped cookie cutter

Method
 

  1. Measure the dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together 2 cups flour, 1 tsp baking soda, and 1/2 tsp baking powder.
  2. Mix the wet ingredients: In another bowl, beat 1/2 cup butter, 3/4 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup milk until soft and fluffy.
  3. Combine ingredients: Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients to form a soft dough.
  4. Prepare cookies: Lightly flour a surface and roll out the dough. Use a leaf-shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes.
  5. Decorate: Let children sprinkle the 2–3 tbsp sprinkles on top of each cookie.
  6. Bake: Place cookies on a baking tray and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.
  7. Cool & serve: Allow cookies to cool completely before serving.

  • Adult supervision is required during oven use.
  • Children can safely help with measuring, mixing, rolling dough, using cookie cutters, and decorating.
  • For a healthier option, reduce sugar slightly or use natural-colored sprinkles.
