Executive Director

Maryam, the visionary founder of Kids USA Montessori, has dedicated her life to fostering environments where learning intertwines with love.

 

From her foundational roles in early education to launching and expanding four Montessori campuses in North Texas, her commitment to nurturing young minds and building supportive communities shines brightly.

Claudia Cruz

Lead Teacher

Claudia, a dedicated Montessori teacher with over 19 years of experience, celebrates her journey in education, which began after her migration to the United States and a transition from a background in accounting.

 

Her passion for teaching inspires young minds every day.

Jessica, with her educational roots as an elementary teacher and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Texas Woman’s University, thrives at Kids USA Montessori, where she combines her love for learning and family engagement in her role as an office assistant.”

Lower Elementary Teacher

Ms. Lane is K-5th grade AMS certified with over 35 years as a dedicated Montessori educator, Ms. Lane cherishes every moment of shaping young minds and celebrating their growth. She has received numerous awards and has been recognized as an expert in teaching young students. She has created and implemented her own educational curricula and social and behavioral programs that have been recognized and implemented in different school programs. Her passion lies in positively influencing the future through education and is committed to meet the social and educational needs of all students.

Dr.Laura van Poppel

Garden Teacher

Dr. Poppel has enjoyed harvesting as a young child and when she moved to Texas in 2010 and wanted to do more for the Plano community. She became a master gardener and worked for different schools in DFW area and help grow their school gardens. She created her own business and now leads different projects in Dallas to help grow their fruits and vegetables. She is now with Kids USA and is helping harvest fruits and vegetables for children to use in their meals.

Yezmin Adam

Spanish Teacher

Mrs. Yezmin has a strong passion for teaching Spanish and sharing the richness of Hispanic culture with young learners. With years of experience in language education, she brings energy, creativity, and a warm spirit into every classroom. A proud mom of five daughters, Mrs. Yezmin understands the importance of patience and encouragement in a child’s learning journey. When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys event planning and spending time with her two playful dogs, Lucas and Kiwi. She is thrilled to be part of the Kids USA Montessori family and looks forward to helping students build their confidence and love for Spanish.
